‘We imagine a school in which students and teachers excitedly and joyfully stretch themselves to their limits in pursuit of projects built on their vision…not one that succeeds in making apathetic students satisfying minimal standards.’ S Papert
WHAT’S YOUR SCHOOL’S ‘REASON FOR BEING’
Fantastic Learning Systems P/L has devised the School Story experience for busy school leaders who do not have the budget for complicated marketing and web strategies. Our half-day introductory workshop sets out an achievable process of managing a three-in-one approach that brings together a school’s public relations needs with its strategic plans and pedagogical ethos. It includes a three-month consultancy.
The School Story solution is created by the winning combination of FLS co-directors, Dr Josey De Rossi and Jeremy Noble who bring together their knowledge and experience of education, business and technology management.
Today, P-12 schools exist both in a physical, geographical sense and as a ‘web presence’. They mostly communicate with households with children aged under 15 years, of which 97% have access to the internet.
Implications of the information tsunami?
Eric Sheninger (2014) names the “Pillars of Digital Leadership” as

- professional growth & development,
- revisioning learning spaces & environment and
At FLS, we believe that Sheninger’s seven Pillars Of Digital Leadership highlight how technologies are converging the once separate domains of PR, PD, marketing & pedagogy for school leaders and classroom teachers.
